I'm glad you're back, congrats on the wedding, and have fun learning Dutch. I lived in the Netherlands ('s-Hertogenbosch) for 6 years and came to love the language. Maybe one day I'll learn Brazilian Portuguese so I can understand those bossa songs I love so much and understand the full meaning of saudade.
I’ve also been awol on my newsletter for all kind of Life reasons and like you the main reason for me to be on here is to write which I miss…. That along the way that we bump into fellow writers whose works resonates is the cherry on top :) I’ve enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to whats next !
Been avoiding thoughts and prayers but might just now that youve said. Enjoyed binging The Roses, Fleishmans in Trouble, The English Teacher and Bad Sisters recently. And though not the kind of thing I’d usually try - Gini and Georgia was weirdly compelling…
I relate to your challenges so much! (Except the getting married in Brazil one, which is very exciting. Congratulations! But I was so glad to get this issue because the recs are so interesting! Even if you just wrote one per month, I would be a thrilled reader. 🙏🏻
I really like this post. As much as we love entertainment, it’s so nice to get a breather from it all.
And I get it! I curate stories and love to do it but sometimes there’s the thought of adding more to an already overflowing landscape.
Hope to hear more from you, in whatever form, and when you can.
Thanks Bee! :)

Hey John. Yes, Dutch is a nice language albeit a bit hard, especially coming from Portuguese. But I'll get there! :)

Happy wedding planning !
Thanks Tara! You are right that I also miss the community here. :)
And Fleishman is in Trouble is great, I have recommended it once too.
