Asian American pop culture is still stunted and embarrassing, but Beef gave me some hope. The maturity gap between Asian art and Asian American art is so stark. Beef, however, bridged that divide more than anything else I've seen/read since Better Luck Tomorrow (which is 2 decades old now!).
Thanks for this, Luiza! I wanted to note that Arcane is actually adapted from the MOBA League of Legends from Riot Games, not World of Warcraft from Blizzard. Both game studios have their own MOBA games featuring steampunk fantasy, so it can be confusing.
