Obviously, it's a sci-fi show, but some of the analogies around controlling what people know about their own past and how this information is preserved (or destroyed!) are pertinent to how they, as a Silo community, continue for the next generations.
Even in a digital age, we can see politicans rewriting history for their own short-term gain.
