Eduardo Galeano is wonderful to read. Even when you only have a little bit of time, you can pick him up and read him for 5 minutes and there is something illuminating.
Looking forward to hearing what you choose next and how you like it! The Creative Act sounds intriguing--I hadn't heard of it before. Thanks for putting it on my radar.
I have such a huge backlog of books to get to! Though currently going through 'The Deadwood Bible' by Matt Zoller Seitz, I'm hoping to read 'Ordinary Monsters,' a fantasy novel by J. M. Miro. I hope I'll find the time to do so. Lately, I've found it helps to stick to a regular book reading time block every day.
Yeah, I have been reading before bed since I was a kid. There was a period that social media eat up this spot, but I brought it back and find it works pretty well. :)

And ate all my blood.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. I loved it, but it also kind of drove me insane.
I HIGHLY recommend Never Let Me Go‼️. It is one of my favourite books of all time. Coincidentally, 'Babel' is also on my TBR🤣
